Entei (Japanese: エンテイ Entei) is a Fire-type Legendary Pokémon. It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon. Along with Raikou and Suicune, it is one of the Legendary beasts created by Ho-Ohafter the burning of the Brass Tower. Out of the three beasts, Entei is said to represent the flames that burned the Brass Tower. (SOURCE: BULBAPEDIA.BULBAGARDEN.NET)
Ever since the third Pokemon movie, Entei has had a very special place in my heart! When I got my Pokedoll, I just knew I had to collect him! I really adore how grumpy he looks! Entei has been my main collection since the very beginning!
ENTEI PAGE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION, PLEASE FORGIVE THE MESS!
10th Anniversary Figure Such a nice figure! This was produced by Banpresto in 2007 for the 10th anniversary of the Pokemon movies. I believe most legendary Pokemon features in movies up until then were made in this set! The figure comes with a clip on cellphone strap and a detachable base. He is fairly hard to find and I'm super lucky to have won him in a group auction for a very reasonable price! I wish he was in a bit more of a dynamic pose, but I love all the details! I also really like the picture in the back of the packaging, so I'm not sure if I'll ever take him out or not! |
Chou Get Entei looks so fierce in this figure! I love his crouching pose! The chou gets are smaller than I expected them to be, but I really appreciate the amount of detail they got on something so tiny. The figure itself is maybe half an inch high, give or take! Does this come in any variants? If so, I'd love to add them to my collection! |
European Gacha Strap This little Entei strap was available in gacha machines in Europe. His pose is similar to the Japanese strap but the little tag says Pokemon instead of Entei. Another difference is that the yellow strap is not braided but just a regular strap. He's part of the Back to Johto Danglers Edition I series, which also features Eevee, Pichu, PIkachu, Piplup, Marill, Suicune and Raikou. This set was made by Tomy! I was lucky enough to catch someone doing a pick-up of this and quickly ordered one! |
Shimmery Movie Edition Kid Ahh, I'm so happy that I have this one! He came in a special set of four Kids: Entei, Raikou, Mightyena and Zoroark! They also came with a sheet of stickers, although I unfortunately did not manage to buy. This was a set released for the promotion of the Zoroark movie. He has a shimmery, sparkly coat that you can see under the light. I love the crouching, roaring pose he's in! |
2012 National Dex Charm Yay, I love this ferocious Entei charm!! I just love his pose! Look at how detailed everything is, from his claws to his flowing mane. For the longest time, I didn't realize the difference between the National and Johto Dex charms, so I neglected to buy this one because I thought I already had it! |
Movie Promotional Sticker Sheet This is a cute sticker sheet that came from a mini booklet of stickers promoting the Zoroark movie! This one features Entei and his other two Beast friends, Raikou and Suicune! I love the sticker of the trio on the bottom with the gorgeous background and dynamic poses! This is one of two sheets in the booklet featuring Entei. |
HGSS20 Shiny Entei Holo Card Such a gorgeous card! This card is a Black Star Promo card. This English version was available in TCG collectors tins in Fall of 2010. The Entei art in this card was based off of the shiny Entei given away at a Nintendo Event during the Japanese theatrical release of Ruler of Illusions: Zoroark in July of 2010. I love how the whole thing sparkles, and the art is just beautiful. I love the pose and the background! TCG art never fails to amaze! Illus. Yuri Umemura |
Black Star Promo #34 Reverse Holo This card is part of the Wizards Black Star Promos and is Entei's debut into the TCG world! This English card was released to promote the third Pokemon movie, Spell of the Unknown, where Entei plays a title role! Spell of the Unknown is hands down my favourite Pokemon movie ever and one of the main reasons I love Entei so much! Fun fact, this is also the first ever reverse holo released outside of Japan! Illus. Ken Sugimori |
Entei and Raikou LEGEND Card (Unleashed 90) Oh my gosh, check out these beautiful cards!! These cards are a dual lightning/fire type and are from the Unleashed expansion. The art is stunning and the holo makes it even prettier. I just love everything about this, from the painted art to the lightning in the background from Raikou, and the sparkly bottom where the text is. I've lost more auctions for this set than I can count, so I was super happy when I finally won an auction for a set of mint cards! I bought them from a super nice Japanese seller on eBay who protected the cards really well and sent me a super cute Snivy as a bonus! Illus. Shinji Higuchi 樋口真嗣 Illus. Sachiko Eba 江場左知子 |
Entei and Suicune LEGEND Card This is the other set of Entei LEGEND cards from the Unleased expansion! This set is a dual water/fire type featuring Suicune and Entei! Again, it's absolutely gorgeous and I love the fire coming out from Entei's paws! Entei looks so amazing in this one. The contrast between water and fire type is so striking! The holo adds a really nice touch to it. I got into a bid war for this on eBay but ended up winning it for a fairly decent price! The seller was super nice and even included a bunch of extra TCG in my package. I'm so excited to finally add this set to my collection! It will be super gorgeous next to my Entei and Raikou LEGEND set! Illus. Shinji Higuchi 樋口真嗣 Illus. Sachiko Eba 江場左知子 |
Bookmark Set This is a neat set of plastic bookmarks that I got from the community! There are two, one with Pikachu, Celebi, Piplup and Zorua, and one with the three beasts! i was lucky enough to get this MIP for a really great price and I have it displayed on my desk. It doesn't actually fit inside my tiny collection shelf. The bookmarks themselves are roughly 4" tall. |
