Emolga (Japanese: エモンガ Emonga) is a dual-type Electric/Flying Pokémon. It is a white, rodent-like Pokémon resembling a flying squirrel. It has black eyes, a tiny nose, and yellow cheek patches. It can create electricity on its electric sacs located on its cheeks and store electricity inside its membranes. (source: bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net)
Emolga is my newest collection! I've loved Emolga since Black and White first came out, but I was afraid to start collecting since merchandise was coming out left and right. I feared for my wallet! I really loved how sassy Emolga was in the anime and was so happy she was such a main Pokemon feature! I've given in to my weakness for cute things and have decided to start collecting her as a main collection! For now, I don't have many things, but I hope to expand much more in the future! |
My Pokemon Collection Plush
Ahh, I positively adore the MPC line! This was my first Emolga plush ever as well as my first MPC and I bought this as a matching set with my good friend and fellow Pokemon collector in Japantown from a store that sold Pokemon merchandise! Unfortunately, they have since closed down, but I'm glad I had the opportunity to snag this little fellow. I love how teeny tiny it is. He sits in my palm perfectly!

American 1:1 Plush I purchased this lovely one myself from New York's Nintendo World! I've wanted a 1:1 for a long time but I could never justify spending that much money, so when I went, I knew I had to get one for myself. When coming home, the lady actually said he was too big and counted him as one of my carry-on bags, so I ended up having to stuff him in my backpack.. -__-;; Look at how cute it is! And it's so soft and cuddly too. The tag is attached with an elastic band so it can be easily removed! Now I need to get myself a Japanese one too! |
American Tomy Plush Hello little chubby Emolga! This is the American version of the Tomy plush released for Emolga. She was sold in various stores across the US such as Toys R Us and Barnes and Nobles. I missed this one when they were very common, but was lucky enough to have a friend sell her to me!! She is very cute and I love how it looks like she is reaching for you! She is a little larger than my Pokemon Center plush. |
Musical Chef Plush
Ahh, I've wanted this plush for a long time! I had debated buying her when she first came out, but I put it off until now. ;u; She is so much smaller than I anticipated - I had expected her to be around the size of the Tomy or at least the Pokemon Center plush, but she's actually about the size of my hand! This plush features Emolga dressed up in a musical costume! The Pokemon musicals were introduced in the Pokemon Black/White games and allowed trainers to dress up their Pokemon and have them compete in dances and shows! |

7-11 Phone Cleaner Strap This is a super cute strap that comes with a Pokeball earphone jack that plugs into the audio jack of a smartphone or iPod. The bottom of the blue base can be used to wipe the screen. I love Emolga's ready-to-attack pose in this figure. This was available in a set of 10 Pokemon: Pikachu, Eevee, Sylveon, Oshawott, Pansage, Genesect, Genesect (shiny), Mewto, Emolga and Snivy. |
Movie 14 Promotional Pokedex Charm Figure Oh my gosh, this keychain is so much smaller than I expected, but just as cute! Lengthwise, Emolga is just under 2.5cm long including her tail, and the mini Pokedex is 4cm long! It's an amazingly detailed replica of the female trainer Pokedex, complete with a tiny picture and description of Emolga on the screen! There's even a tiny painted switch on the side of the Pokedex! This cutie was released in a set to promote the 14th Pokemon movie. The other Pokemon in this set are Pikachu, Reshiram, Zekrom, Scraggy and Victini! |

CHARMS, FLATS, MISC.
Furikake Pack These are little packets of Pokemon furikake, which is Japanese rice seasoning. This particular pack features Emolga and Pikachu on the front, and a large Froakie on the back. The background has a neat shiny/metallic finish to it, which gives the art a lot of pop! These are super cute additions to my collection~ I'm still not sure if I want to open them up to eat the furikake or not, since I might rip the pack, so for now, they'll sit on my shelf and look pretty. |
Cookie Tin This tin is super cute! The three layers are removable, so you can mix and match with other tins of this style! These were sold in Pokemon Centers during the Black and White era and had cookies/treats inside! This tin features a bunch of the gen 5 Pokemon featured in the Best Wishes series, and the lid has a cute group sot of the three starters. Overall, it's a really cute and colourful tin that I'm super happy to add to my collection! |
Korean Glow-in-the-Dark Stickers These are cute little glow-in-the-dark stickers that are slightly smaller than pan stickers but have the same feel to them! They're very, very cute and I love Emolga's attack pose in the one on the right! Her angry face is too cute! I got a second of the sticker on the bottom that is currently on my phone~ So cute! |
Korean Holographic Pokedex Sticker This is a cute sticker from Korea with some facts (?) about Emolga on the bottom! It has a really pretty holographic finish when viewed in the light that's a little difficult to catch on camera. Again, I just love angry Emolga and the electricity in the background behind her! |
Lenticular Emolga Card Sticker This is a neat card in Korean that changes when you move it around! Emolga gets closer to you and turns a little, like she's about to attack! The back has some facts about Emolga in Korean. It's about 1.5" by 1.5"! I didn't even realize this was a sticker until they told me! I think for now, I'll just display it as a card, since sticking it on something is too much of a commitment, haha! This was a really cute freebie that a seller included! Thanks so much~ |
Emolga and Whimsicott Stamp and Ink Pad The square box on the left with Pikachu, Whimsicott and Emolga is a green ink pad and the pink rectangle on the right is a stamp that has the same image as the sticker! These two were the only Emolga features in a cute mini stamp set that had 14 other stamps and 1 other ink pad that had other Generation V Pokemon on them. These sets are very difficult to find and expensive, so I was lucky to buy these two loose pieces for a great price! |
Reward Seal These two stickers are about the size of a quarter and have a neat shiny finish to them! I'm not sure where they're from, but I got them from a lot of assorted Pokemon stickers that featured Pokemon from the Unova and Kalos regions! I just love the adorable Pokeball pattern background with the stars! |
Emolga Tretta Piece
This Tretta piece is special because I won it myself in Japan! This was actually the first Tretta piece I ever won! I was passing a SEGA game arcade on my way back to the hotel and quickly ran inside to try the game for myself. It's lots of fun and I'm glad I was able to win this! |

Bead Sprite This is a cute sprite made by latias_latios_7 on LiveJournal, who made my whole team and a few extras as part of an art trade! Her sprites are unique in that they're supposed to be viewed from the flat, ironed side! Most bead sprites I've seen make them so that you can see them on the bead sprite, but I kind of like it this way because it's easier to see the character. It really looks like pixel art! This is one of my favourites from the bunch. |
